Things to do in & around Puerto Aventuras...
There's so much going on in PA that you may stay put. Enjoy all kinds of activities, from water-based to golfing & tennis. There's so much going on at Central Park, and you can always find folks playing pickleball. Volleyball, basketball, bocci, jogging, hiking, working out in the outdoor gym, or just enjoying eats & drinks at one of the bistros in the park. If you are a fisherman, PA is the place for you. There are so many charter boats for deep sea fishing, which takes place just outside of the marinas. Large party boats are also available for private charter or individual tickets.
If you want to explore the Riviera Maya, there are many cenotes, ruins, & eco parks to enjoy. Akumal is a beautiful beach community known for a congregation of sea turtles. The Tulum area is about a 30-40 minute drive to the south. You can explore the famous ruins or hang out at the expansive beach area, where shopping and dining are abundant. If you are in the mood for an adventure park, there's a bunch! The Xcaret band of parks offers a variety of parks ranging from zip lines, cenotes, snorkeling, mind-bending, high rope walking, and so much more...
